FACILITIES
With its headquarters in Istanbul, the gateway to the eastern Mediterranean, Turquoise Yachts has two shipyards, one in Istanbul at Pendik and the other in Kocaeli. The Pendik shipyard is just a few minutes’ drive from the international Sabiha Gokcen airport, connected directly to the the world by commercial and private aviation - making it incredibly accessible!
This facility has direct access to the Sea of Marmara for initial sea trials, conveniently just minutes from the yard’s dock face and just a short sea passage into the heart of the Mediterranean. The Pendik facility is an impressive 25,000m2 landscaped location capable of accommodating four yachts of up to 85m in length simultaneously. It boasts a dock length of 110m and is used expressly for interior decoration and finishing work.

The second shipyard with a 120m dock was established in 2005 and is located in Kocaeli, across the bay from Pendik. Its main function is the completion of steel and aluminium hull and superstructure work, as well as the installation of machinery and heavy piping. Currently building 50m to 80m+ hulls, the yard has the capability and facilities to build yachts with an overall length of up to 120m.

HISTORY
The history of Turquoise Yachts goes back to the 1970’s, with the building of Turkey’s first yachts under the Proteksan and Turquoise brands. Since then, many more megayachts ranging from 40 to 77 meters in length have been delivered to an international roster of clients from the USA, UK, Europe and Russia.

The latest launches include 77m GO, 56m Blue II and 47m ROE.
In 2014, MB Holding became the majority shareholder in Turquoise Yachts, solidifying Turquoise as a high-end inventive and eminently capable custom builder. We continue to upgrade our facilities and processes at our two shipyards and continuously have several superyachts under construction.

To service our global customers, we have offices in Monaco and Fort Lauderdale, and offer full technical assistance and support from our Istanbul headquarters.
